“Linewand is a brand made of a family of objects created to made the tasks related to drawing, painting and calligraphy in the digital world. It is a multidisciplinary project that pretends to improve the interaction and invigorate the artistic creation. Our main goal is for the user to paint and draw in a more realistic manner in a digital format. In this way, the user feels more comfortable and achieves a total control over the creation from the beginning to the end.”
I’m Javier Jabalera, a young graphic designer based in Barcelona. I recently graduated in Communication and Graphic Design in Elisava Design School. I’m so into editorial design, web, communication… All related graphic design thrills me and I also try to combine my design skills with other kind of abilities as lettering or illustration.
Colorado-based firm, Robert Hawkins Architects, designed this energy-efficient home near Steamboat Springs, Colorado. It’s also completely stunning inside. The home uses reclaimed wood on the interior, siding and for the frame itself. Half of the roofs are green, using “SemperGreen” sedum mats, while the roofs with prime sun exposure were left, natural, dare I say? for solar panels. Instead of watch hands, part of the face is raised up to create a space for tiny sliver of an LED light which peeks through to provide a glow which acts as the hour hand.
Net Lamp - This is a floor lamp that utilizes the particular character of the Poly-net, which is composed by extremely elastic and light net, enable to contain an object inside. The principal structure of this lamp is built by one cylinder of the Poly-net with two metal supporter in the end. Compressed by knitting, a globe of plastic containing LED deform the cylinder and diffuse light in the environment. The structure is able to be modified in height, simplistically cut the end part.
